25-year-old Oleksandr Zinchenko has been on the verge of becoming a member of Arsenal from Manchester Metropolis, and now Pep Guardiola has confirmed his departure after relaying his gratitude in an interview.
The Ukraine worldwide has been on the point of becoming a member of Arsenal after the Premier League champions agreed to a deal price £30m (as per the Mirror) to convey the versatile participant to the Emirates.
Zinchenko struggled to safe a beginning position in Guardiola’s squad forward of Metropolis’s primary left-back Joao Cancelo, making simply 15 Premier League appearances final season.

The Metropolis boss mentioned: “I’ll say on behalf of the membership our gratitude on and off the pitch. It was good yesterday with Oleks as a result of lets say bye correctly. Sadly, Gabi [Gabriel Jesus] and Raheem [Sterling] couldn’t do it however with him we may and he strikes on to Arsenal.”
Zinchenko will likely be a welcomed addition to the Gunners squad because the versatile participant will be capable to create backup and competitors for the present injury-prone left-back, Kieran Tierney.
